A number of more advanced diagnostic tests are available through the clinic, including:
- Diagnostic procedures such as MRI and CT scanning have proven invaluable in many cases. Although they are done less commonly than more routine diagnostics such as xrays, we are able to arrange scans when required.
- Holter monitoring for cardiac arrhythmias – this involves attaching monitoring electrodes to the chest (much the same as in humans) and recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of hours or days.
- Genetic testing for breed identification, and some specific breed associated diseases.
- Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Radiology, Ultrasonography and ECG are available in clinic (see separate Services sections for details)
- Blood Pressure monitoring
