WAS SHE OUR OLDEST CAT?

Sarah has been attending our clinic since she was rehomed with her very dedicated owner Fleur at the ripe age of 20 years old.

Before that she had been a gift to her first owner for her 5th birthday, and this owner was 25 years old when she gave her to Fleur.

That was way back in 2002.

Sarah was put to sleep this week at the wonderful age of 33 years and 5 months.

We believe up until then she was the oldest living cat in New Zealand, and unfortunately, though we had applied for the Guiness world record, she didn’t live long enough to complete the certification process.

We will all miss her!
