AI-assisted clinical documentation
To help us provide efficient and accurate veterinary care, we may use secure AI-assisted documentation tools to help generate draft clinical notes during or after consultations.
These tools assist our veterinary team by preparing clinical documentation only. All notes are carefully reviewed, edited where necessary, and approved by a veterinarian before being added to your pet’s medical record. AI does not make clinical decisions or replace the judgement of our veterinary professionals.
We take reasonable steps to ensure any AI service we use meets appropriate privacy and security standards and complies with our obligations under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
If AI-assisted documentation is being used during your consultation and you would prefer that it is not, please let a member of our team know. We are happy to accommodate your preference.
Appointment reminders and marketing communications
We may use your contact details to send appointment confirmations, reminders, vaccination and preventative healthcare reminders, test results, and other information relating to your pet’s care.
From time to time, we may also send you newsletters, special offers, promotions, or information about products and services that may be of interest to you or benefit your pet. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in our emails or by contacting us directly. You will continue to receive important communications relating to your pet’s treatment, appointments, and ongoing care.
