An ultrasound scan is a non-invasive and painless way of forming an image of what is going on inside the body.

We have a state-of –the-art ultrasound machine, which can even do echocardiography.   Ultrasounds can be used for diagnosing problems in the abdomen (looking at the liver, spleen, kidneys, stomach, gut and bladder), and the chest (especially the heart).

We use the ultrasound for pregnancy diagnosis and frequently use it to look for bladder stones,  intestinal blockages and foreign bodies and tumors.

It can also be used to precision-guide a vet when taking a Fine Needle Aspirate (FNA) of an area inside the body.
