LEVEL 2 – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

While we are at Level 2 our clinic will run differently.

Here are the key things to note:

  1. During Level 2 restrictions we can now provide routine and non-urgent care. Distancing requirements and other safety precautions remain in place.  Clients are now permitted in the building, although we require extra safety measures:
  • Please DO NOT come to the clinic if you have any cold or flu symptoms, are a close contact of a covid case, are self isolating,  think you may have been exposed, or have returned to Christchurch from an area under Level 4 restrictions.   Safety and health of our team is a priority.  Call for advice if this applies to you.
  • ALL clients entering the building are required to scan our QR code and use the hand sanitiser supplied. We ask that you wear a mask when visiting.  We can supply one if you forgot yours or don’t have one.
  • Please do not bring your children – we prefer only one person per visit where possible.
  • Try to maintain a 2 metre distance from all other clients
  • Be patient – our workload is substantially increased working under these restrictions and we ask that you are patient with possible delays. We try our best to avoid these.

Unfortunately during the week at level 3, five of our staff were verbally abused by clients  – we have a zero tolerance for this at all times.  Its all about Mutual Respect.

  1. Our opening hours will be back to normal: 8:00am-7:00pm weekdays, 9:00am-3:00pm Saturdays and 10:00 am-2pm Sundays.
  2. Food and pet supply purchases can be made through our online shop and we can leave your purchase at our click and collect point at our front door. We expect to be very busy so online ordering will be the fastest way to receive your purchase and it avoids clogging up the phone lines and queues at reception.  Courier deliveries to your home are also available.   Our wholesalers are still delivering each weekday, and so far we don’t anticipate any problems.  Call when you are on your way to collect your purchase and we can have it ready outside the door.
  3. Requests for repeat prescriptions can also be made via a link on our website – you will then be contacted when the request is confirmed, and your order is ready to collect.  Please allow at least 24 hours for processing.
  4. Our team are extremely busy during lockdowns so please be patient and kind to us as we are doing our best to manage a very stressful situation.
